Through specialized education and training, Dr. Roger uses the best techniques and procedures created especially for those young, little mouths and teeth. Your child will be put at ease, allowing him or her to actually have fun during an experience that can sometimes feel very scary. We also realize that a trip to the dentist office can be a little overwhelming for parents, too. We will send you an informative new patient brochure before your child's appointment. You and your child should review this information together. Then scoot on in, and let us take care of the rest – your child's reaction to his or her first visit to the dentist may surprise you!
When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin dental treatment. For your convenience, you may print and complete our First Visit Form prior to your child’s appointment. The initial exam with Dr. Roger Tipton will last approximately 30 minutes. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your child's teeth. In most cases, our Registered Dental Hygienists will clean your child's teeth at this visit, and Dr. Roger will provide an evaluation, outlining any existing dental problems and proposed treatment.
