Dr. Nadene Tipton is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Combined Sciences. She then attended Baylor College of Dentistry and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery along with her Master of Science degree and certificate in orthodontics in 1994. Since then, she has received her Diplomate status with the American Board of Orthodontics, a voluntary effort in continuing education that requires personally treated case presentations for critical review by a panel of nationally respected peers.
Dr. Nadene was named the 49th recipient of the C.T. Rowland Award for Excellence in Orthodontics in 2003. This honor is awarded to the new member of the Charles H. Tweed study group, who displays the most outstanding proficiency in clinical orthodontics. Dr. Nadene is the first woman to receive this award.
Dr. Nadene is an active member of:

- The American Dental Association
- Texas Dental Association
- Past Chairperson for Children's Dental Health
She was also instrumental in securing the dental exhibit at the Science Spectrum.
Dr. Nadene, along with her husband who is a specialist in pediatric dentistry, trained at the New York Medical Center to deliver nasoalveolar-molding treatment to newborn patients with cleft lip and palate, not previously available in the Lubbock area.
The goals of her office include delivering exceptional service and treatment results in a comfortable and fun atmosphere. Her education and experience offer the ideal combination to ensure that patients receive the best orthodontic care available. Dr. Nadene is proud of the personal attention each patient is guaranteed.
Outside the office, Dr. Nadene enjoys spending time with her family, playing the flute, and gardening. Dr. Nadene and Dr. Roger have three boys. As you can see, together they are Double T Smiles – Doctors Tipton and Tipton.
